Jena Lysen joined the BCBSKS board of directors in 2017. She serves on the compensation committee, and the boards for Advance Insurance Company of Kansas and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation.

Lysen is director of human resources for Martin, Pringle, Oliver, Wallace & Bauer, LLP. In that role, she supervises staff, recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, training, evaluations, setting salaries, maintenance of records and benefit administration. She holds a master's degree in business administration as well as sociology and earned her bachelor's in education from Wichita State University.

She lives in Wichita.
