Complete Required CMS Demographics Attestation

Maintaining accurate provider information is critically important to ensure patients have timely and equitable access to care. Updated information helps Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) maintain accurate provider directories and comply with federal mandates.

Action Required:

• Medicare Advantage (MA) providers must attest annually to the information in the CMS Demographics link in the BCBSKS Provider Secure Portal, BlueAccess^®, regardless of if updates are needed. 
• The CMS Demographics link can be found once logged in to BlueAccess by hovering over the “Provider Information” tab. 
• Providers can and should make changes to their demographics as needed in this link to ensure accurate information across all BCBSKS provider directories. 

Please note, it is only necessary for one person per facility/office to review the information. The “Group Provider” section provides the date of last submission.
