Emergency Air Ambulance Network Change

We want to inform you of a change to our emergency air ambulance network. Effective Jan. 1, 2023, Global Medical Response (Med-Trans) will no longer be considered an in network provider with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS). BCBSKS's goal is to develop lasting, mutually cost-effective contractual relationships with our providers, while also remaining cognizant of our members premium dollars. Unfortunately, we were unable to come to a mutual agreement in this situation but remain open to future contracting conversations.
