Notification of upcoming Risk Adjustment Requests

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) would like to notify you that the Risk Adjustment audit for ACA members is starting soon, with letters being sent out in early December. This audit is essential for accurate coding and ensuring that patient diagnoses are appropriately reflected.

Important dates, expectations and how to ensure the success of the Risk Adjustment audit for your office are listed below:

• Return requested records 30 days from date the letter was received. 
• All records returned should fall within the return instructions included in each audit request letter.
