Submit Your MA Rate Letters
Maintaining accurate provider information is critically important to ensure proper reimbursement. Updated information helps Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) maintain records and ensure providers are reimbursed appropriately.
Reimbursement for inpatient and outpatient services will be based on the critical access hospital’s or rural health clinic's most recent interim rate letter from their A/B Medicare Administrative Contractors.
To ensure appropriate reimbursement, a copy of the current interim rate letter is necessary to be provided at initial contracting and each following year when CMS provides updated interim rate letters. These letters must be provided timely, so the system is set to pay according to the letter.
Email the rate letters to [email protected] and identify if your facility is Method I or Method II.
This information can be found in our Medicare Advantage Provider Manual.
