Update: CPT Code 99459

It has come to our attention that CPT code 99459 – which captures the four minutes of clinical staff time associated with chaperoning a pelvic exam – was allowed to be reimbursed incorrectly. The add-on code will become content of service to the examination beginning with date of service Oct. 1, 2024.
